That means a nice-looking, professional 5-page informational website with standard customization is going to cost less than a highly-customized 10-page website with all the bells and whistles. In terms of actual dollars, our starting price for a website is $1,999 CAD. Our custom designs start at $3,999 and increases depending on complexity and functionality requirements.
How long does it take to build a website?
Our timeline structure is based on the size and complexity of your website. Our process includes a detailed discussion of your timeline and needs, and open communication throughout the project is essential for us. Our Website Starter Package has a general turnover time of 2-4 weeks, while mid-large scale projects can take anywhere from 2-6 months. Will I be able to make updates myself?
Absolutely! Our goal is to empower you and allow you to use your website as a fundamental tool to grow your business or organization. Your Content Management System (CMS) will be tailored and built for your specific needs. From managing simple page content or adjusting and uploading images, to integrating payment gateways, accounting software and much more, we will ensure your CMS is a perfect fit for your organization or business need. Rest assured knowing you’ll receive a detailed training lesson that will make updating future content an easy and manageable process long after the project has been completed. And if you’d rather not touch the website yourself, we are happy to maintain your site on an ongoing basis.
Will my website be optimized for search engines like Google? (Search Engine Optimization, SEO)
We use a framework that is optimized for search engines based on the following principles: it must be fast, fully responsive, and all content must be marked up for Google’s ever-evolving markup library. If you’re looking for on-going SEO support, we can help you with that too. We’ve also got a few PPC/SEM nuggets built in to ensure your digital advertising efforts are being maximized (we can help with this too).
Will I own my website once it is complete?
Yes, it’s your website. While we do maintain some ownership of intellectual property, the website files and content are yours. Our framework is also built upon common Squarespace architecture, which means any competent web developer can jump in and constantly evolve and expand your website as your business grows.
When do I pay?
Our projects are 50% up front, and 50% due at completion (usually 7 -21 days).
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Your website will be responsive so that whether people are viewing it on their phone, desktop or tablet, they can navigate easily.
